Through our classes, children learn fundamental dance techniques, such as balance, coordination, and rhythm. Our instructors use a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, sensory props, and verbal cues to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

When and Where are the SEND dance classes?
About the teacher
Marta is from Portugal where she gave her first steps into ballet. She started her journey at Estarreja Ballet School at age of 6 and stopped when she was 19 years old, when she was part of a small dance company/school, the BCN – Ballet Contemporâneo do Norte, right before starting her Degree in Psychology.
After finishing her Degree and Master in Clinical Psychology (Master thesis: Eating Disorders) and specialisation in Children with Disabilities and Special Needs, she decided to join Psychology and Dance and invested in new courses and specialisations (Dance and movement Therapy and Art Therapy) – currently taking a specialisation in Psychology of Dance.
She taught Creative Dance, for children from 3 years old, Sensorial movement for children with ADHD/ADD and Autism for 4 years and more recently baby dance classes.
Marta loves the power that dance has and what you can make and achieve with it – her dance mantra is: “Dance, Dance, otherwise we are lost!” by Pina Baush and because of this, at the age of 34 she decided to go back to Ballet and to teach.
